Mission
Psychotherapy is a general term that is used to describe the process of treating psychological disorders and mental distress by the use of verbal and psychological techniques. During this process, a trained psychotherapist helps the client tackle specific or general problems such as a particular mental illness or a source of life stress.
Life Experience
I grew up in a dysfunctional family, so as a child and a young man I never learned what healthy love and relationship look like. After experiencing a painful divorce in 2008, I began looking for answers as to what happened to my relationship and how to avoid repeating unhealthy patterns in the future. This journey inspired me to study psychology and eventually pursue a career as a counsellor. Along the way, I was also searching for love and in the process developed a compatibility system. It eventually became the basis for my book “Conscious search for love. An exploration of compatibility in a romantic relationship“. It takes into account emotional, existential, sexual and personality compatibility. In 2015 I married Kate, my best friend and a wonderful mother to our two amazing kids.

Your symptoms often play a role in the type of treatment and type of therapist you choose. If your doctor suspects that you are experiencing problems that might require the use of prescription medications in addition to psychotherapy, he or she may refer you to a psychiatrist.
