Between 2016 and 2022, I worked with Options Community Services (Surrey, BC, Canada) in roles such as Mental Health Worker, Youth Counsellor, and Family Counsellor. I was also contracted as a Child Protection Social Worker by the Government of Nunavut in 2016. These roles gave me a wide perspective and solid foundation to support people from all walks of life.

❤️ Why I Do This Work

I grew up in a dysfunctional family where love felt confusing and unstable. After going through a painful divorce in 2008, I realized I needed answers, not just about why it happened, but also on how to create healthy relationships in the future.

That journey led me to study psychology, discover somatic practices, and eventually become a counsellor. Along the way, I was also searching for love and in the process developed a compatibility system. It eventually became the basis for my book “The Search For Lasting Love: An In-Depth Exploration of Compatibility in Romantic Relationships “. In the book, I break down what truly makes love sustainable, exploring the emotional, existential, sexual, and personality dimensions that shape long-term compatibility.

Today, I’m happily married to Kate — my best friend and the mother of our two incredible kids. And I bring every lesson I’ve learned into the therapy room, with empathy and real-life understanding.
